April 28th, the National Day of Mourning is dedicated to remembering those who have lost their lives, or suffered injury or illness on the job or due to a work-related tragedy.  On this day, PPWC, Public and Private Workers of Canada encourage our members to pause, reflect and remember those workers.

A message from your Occupational Health & Safety Officer:

Today, we are encouraged to take a moment to remember the workers who have lost their lives or have been seriously injured at work. Injuries can take a toll on ones life from financial, health, relationships and lifestyle changes. Make safety personal. Be the keeper of your Brothers and Sisters in the workplace and at home.
